CHICKEN BIRYANI ( चिकन बिर्याणी)
Today let's try our non vegetarians favourite food.. chicken biryani,. Chicken biryani is basically a combination of rice, chicken & some spices, but when they comes together magic happens.. first of all we need all ingredients which is crucial for biryani.
FOR 1kg biryani. ( For 7-9 people )
Rice :- 1kg
Chicken : 1kg
Oil:- 200gm
Whole spices : cardamom, cinnamon,elaichi ,bay leaf , black pepper & cloves ( all together 25-40 GM's)
Coriander :- 25gm
Curd :- 1/2 litre
Turmeric ( haldi):- 2 teaspoon
Coriander & cumin powder :- 4 teaspoon
Salt:- as per taste
Ghee (butter):- 2-3 teaspoon
Step 1:- First of all wash your chicken properly 2-3 times with clean water
Step 2 :- Marination of chicken with the spices
Take a chicken in a big bowl sprinkle 2 teaspoon salt , 1 teaspoon turmeric (haldi), 1 teaspoon lemon juice, add 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste , 2 teaspoon biryani masala, 200 gms of curd ,
teaspoon oil , green chilly & coriander paste 1 teaspoon

STEP 4 :- frying onion & cooking chicken slightly
Now take a steel pot add 200gms of oil & let it heat on medium gas flame , after heating add 300 gms of vertically chopped onion & fry it until golden brown colour
